SCRIPT (from subtitles of the dvd)

The movie begins with Icarus who watches the moon.
Seiya is in a sanatory near a beautiful park by a lake. He sits on a wheelchair, in a state of unconsciuosness and he can't see what happens around him.
From the sky, three Angels are flying towards the sanatory: Theseus, Odysseus and Icarus.
"Go to hell... Seiya." Icarus whispers.
Tens of spears are thown around Seiya.
"Those who betray god and wield their swords against him shall pay with their lives..." Odysseus asserts.
Unluckly, no spear has been able to damage deadly Seiya, who remains seated as nothing has happened, although some wounds.
"You escaped our attacks!" Theseus states.
"This..." Icarus approaches Seiya and takes a spear to throw it suddenly to a wall.

From the crushed panel, Saori exits, apparently calm, ingnoring the three Angels, and approaches Seiya to give him a beadspread.
"...seems to be your doing, isn't it? Athena." Icarus asks.
Theseus e Icarus get closer to Saori, but she ignores them and walks towards Seiya; as soon as she reaches, the spears dissolve. Saori puts a cover on Seiya's legs and she touches him over the hot zone.
"Please stay out of this, Athena." Odysseus orders.
"We are messangers sent here to bury this person." Theseus says.
"No way!" Saori says after she took care of Seiya.
""That" is just a human. Unworthy of your protection." Icarus explains.
"Under whose order have you come here?" Saori asks.
"Your sister has been watching over you." Icarus says.
Theseus and Odysseus get ready to strike a blow.
"Did my sister order you to kill?"
"He must be punished for wielding his sword against god."
"I will not allow you to hurt Seiya!" Saori goes in front of Seiya to protect him, while Theseus and Odysseus are about to strike.

Suddenly the sun goes down and a very big moon shines in the sky.
"Istantly the world was thrown into moonlight night..." Saori thinks "Only one person is capable of that. The Goddess of Moon who rules the deep dark night. The moon is actually shining brighter than the sun. This light only exists to shine on the goddess."
Artemis appears, lighted by the moon:
"Athena, my sister!"
"Artemis... Sister..."
The three Angels kneel down themselves.
"Athena... You have fallen. You should be guiding and judging mankind but you failed." Artemis says solemn "You no longer have the right to rule the earth. Leave the earth to me. Since it has come to this, I won't allow you to regret it."
"Athena's face has changed" Icarus notices "Her eyes are full of elegance and strenght of will. And her cosmos is so clean and upright. Could this be the real Athena?"
"I just need to, hand it over to you?" Athena asks after letting her scepter to appear. It seems that she wants to please her sister.
"I never thought you'd give it up without esitation... Does it mean that the earth means nothing to you, Athena?" she asks while she gets closer.
"I have one request in exchange for that."
"Request...?"
"Please forgive the saints for their alleged sin. I'll take all the blame. So, please, don't hurt Seiya or the other saints. Please. I wish them to live out their lives as human."
"You're asking me to let them walk free? Athena, the scepter and the people's lives, do you understand which is more important?" Artemis is shocked by Athena's priorities and tries to convince her to change her mind. "Compared with gods, human life is but a short instant. I'll pretend I do not know they're living. But if they dare to offend any god again, don't blame me if I show no mercy."
Artemis agrees, the saint's life against her reign on earth.
"Seiya and his friends will never go to battle again." Athena promises and kneels down herself in front of her sister "They won't ever fight again under any flag. Not even in the name of Athena."
Artemis takes the scepter offered by Athena:
"Go back to the Sanctuary... Bring your deity self back again." she orders.
"Like you said." Saori says before she disappears.
 

It's still night and Seiya has a nightmare while he is sleeping on the wheelchair. He remembers the battle against Hades, who hits him with his sword. Seiya is shocked and wakes up. "You can't do this, Miss Saori!"

In the meantime, in a dark and unknown dimension, a metallic voice speaks.
"Your bodies have faded away, Gold Saints who only have your souls left."
"But your sin will not be forgiven by we gods." another voice says.
"We are Athena's Saints." a Gold Saint replies, maybe Sion (it's dark and difficult to distinguish the shapes) "Even if our bodies are gone, even if we'll offend the gods, we will not hesitate. We exist for Athena's sake."
"Apparently, even the so-called best of Athena's Saints are just humans." the first metallic voice says.
Shaka's shape appears.
"I'll seal your souls" the metallic voices say, sometimes all togheter and sometimes alone "as a warning to mankind who keep offending the gods. Your souls will stay here forever and will never rest in peace."
"We are dead but our souls will be together with Athena." young Dauko says "Even if we're kept in never-ending pain, our will shall never falter."
While Dauko is speaking, some other Gold Saint's shapes appear. Maybe they are Death Mask and Aphrodite (they are both involved against their willing).
"And even if our souls are sealed," Sion tells "there will be others, to carry the torch."
"Suppose someone like that appears, he still won't be able to deafet the gods." some metallic voices reply. "Humans, you should learn to fear gods."

In the Moon's Sanctuary, the telepathic discussion between Saori and Artemis goes on.
"Please stop your decimation of mankind." Saori begs.
"It's too late. Divine punishments are coming down on them. Soon, mankind will disappear off the face of the earth."
"If this is God's will, I'll bet my life for mankind."
"Sister, you can't cherish any hope for mankind. Because we are gods!"

It's morning in Japan. The wheelchair has been damaged while falling from a perron and Seiya wakes up while he is in a park.
"Miss Saori... I can't sense Athena any more."
While Seiya is reflecting, Marin arrives and helps him to sit down.
"Is it Seiya?"
"Marin, my sister..."
"Seiya, have you regained consciousness?"
"What... happened to me?" he asks in a depressed mood "Marin, the spirit of Athena..."
"Seiya, you... after your battle with Hades, I heard that you haven't woken up from your deep sleep. And I heard that Athena has been taking care of you. So this is where you're living."
Seiya stands up.
"Marin, did something happen to Miss Saori?"
"That's my Seiya. You care about Athena more than your own frailty."
"No, it's not like that, Marin... The world seems void. I have a bad feeling about this."
"A bad feeling?" Marin reflects, while she's collecting a pendant.
"Marin."
"A bad feeling... Maybe this is it."
"Marin, do you know something about it?"
"No, I'm going to do some investigation." Marin says, putting the misterious pendant in her pocket "Seiya, you'd better go back to Sanctuary. Shaina and the others are there. Don't look so upset, okay?"

Seiya walks crippling to the Sanctuary, to find out that it is radically changed: some of the buildings have felt down and there are holes in the pavement. There are pools and waterfalls everywhere, the place is gracious as an old ruin. Everything seems quite, no signs of battle.
"So this is Sanctuary... What the hell have happened?"
"This is Artemis's Sanctuary." a femine voice says.
"Whose did you say?" Seiya exclaims worried. As he figures out that the woman is Shaina, he feels good.
"Seiya... This is not a place for commoners like you to set foot in."
"Shaina, what are you talking about? Who is Artemis? This is Athena's Sanctuary, isn't it?"
"It used to be. But Seiya, it's different now."
"What's different? This is Athena's Sanctuary." Seiya is worried again "Shaina! Athena... Where is Miss Saori?"
"Athena has handed over her place to Artemis." Shaina replies, getting down from the arch where she was seated. "Seiya, you should know that already."
"You've got to be kidding!"

Unexpectedly Jabu hits Seiya in his chest.
"Jabu...! Shaina, why..."
"Seiya, you're no longer a Saint or anything at all. Leave here now!" Shaina orders.
"What are you talking about?"
"I've just started serving the goddess Artemis." Ichi, who is behind Seiya, takes part too "It's a suprise to meet you in my first job."
"Ichi..."
"For old time's sake, I'll let you if you stay clear of here." Jabu tells.
"What are you talking about? We should be Athena's Saints!"
"There are no Athena's Saints here." Shaina replies.
"There's me!"
"How could you be Athena's Saint?"
"What?"
"Such a pain in the ass. Piss off now!" Ichi and Jabu shout, as they get ready for the battle.
Jabu attacks with a rotatory kick, while Ichi shows his needles. Shaina remains watching Seiya while he is trying to blow a fist, without results. Ichi laughs happily.
"I can't use my power! My cosmos, where is it gone? My cosmos..."
While Seiya is complaining himself, Shaina runs towards him and hits him many times. Seiya is lying on the ground.
"Seiya, cosmos is there to burn! Use your heart! You can't stand, can you? Want to borrow a mirror? Look at your pitiful face! That's why Athena abandoned the Saints... and the world on earth!"
"I'm a Saint!" Seiya exclaims, getting up.
"Is the title of a Saint so important? What a disgrace to hang on to a mere name!"
"No!"
"Seiya! You are useless to this world now."
"No!"
Seiya tries again to blow a fist, but it is very weak and Shaina blocks it without difficulty. Seiya is shocked.
"Don't make me laugh!" Shaina hits Seiya many times and throws him into water.
"Looks like he's dead." Ichi says worried.
"Porr boy. What a tragedy! Since it has come to this, it's best to run away. Forget about Athena." Shaina tells him.
"You tell me to... forget about Athena...?"
"Can't do it? Well then, I'll help you forget her."
Shaina expands her cosmo, breaks some rocks and lets Seiya fall in a ravine.
"Is that okay?" Jabu asks her.
"We have eliminated Seiya as you ordered." Shaina replies.
"You're indeed as good as you're said to be, Shaina." Ichi says.
"Let's go..."
"Damn it." Shaina reflects on her own "Seiya is not the only idiot."
Shaina, Jabu and Ichi leave; they are in Artemis's party now, even if it sound strange, considering what they've done in the past. Maybe it's just a trick to help Seiya at the right moment? Or maybe they felt abbandoned by Athena and so they changed their mind, fighting for Artemis?

While Athena is walking through a water channel, Seiya wakes up, finding himself in a cove.
"Did I... fall down... Shaina... Jabu, Ichi... It can't be true." he cries "Miss Saori cannot have abandoned this world. We can't see each other again? All this can't be true! It can't be true... Who will admit..."
Unexpectedly, nearby, Seiya finds a box.
"This is... my... Cloth..."
Seiya is full of joy and hope, but as soon as he touches the cloth he feels very bad.
"Is my Cloth rejecting me? No... It's my body rejecting the Cloth... It refuses to see Athena again..."
Seiya tries again and this time nothing happens after he touches the cloth.
 

Athena goes into a pool, she's dressed. "This is all my fault. This is all because of my selfishness. I may not be able to stop it, but if I am to delay it..." she cuts her veins and stay in the middle of the pool "to delay the end of this world with my blood."

In the meantime, Shun gets to the Santcuary too. He is here to investigate and he's climbing a rock.
"Why has it turned out like this?"
Suddenly, the top of his chain starts to move, a shape with wings is getting closer.
"What? Enemy...?! Angel... Angel...?"
The chain tries to hit the blonde angel, but it fails and gets into a rock. Shun is in trouble because he's on the edge of a precipice. The angel stays on the chain.
"Who is it?"
"Angel." Theseus replies.
"Messenger of gods. Where is Athena? Seems Athena's protection didn't reach the earth. Do you know what the situation is like? And, what are you doing..."
"The earth is now ruled by the goddess Artemis." Theseus says, walking on the chain "And I am ordered to kill Athena's Saints."
Theseus, staying on the top of the chain, hits Shun hard simply by touching him. Theseus teleports himself and Shun to the nearby glade.
"Athena, where is she?"
"Athena and her Saints defeating one god after another. This offended the gods. So of course they'll be killed."
"Even Athena must be killed?"
"Athena's life is coming to an end."
"What did you do to Athena?"
"Athena plans to use her own blood to protect mankind. When she loses all her blood, her life will..."
"No!"
Shun hurls himselft against Theseus who anticipates his moves and hits him, throwing him to a strange rock. That rock is the seal of Gold Saints spirits. Shun gets scared and falls in the puddle below.

Theseus is about to finish him, when Ikki arrives and makes him to fail the attack.
"Bro, you've come!" Shun exclaims happily "Bro, Athena... and the souls of the Gold Saints..."
"Stop it, Shun."
"Athena has abandoned earth. And now she is ending her life for redemption." Theseus explains "Why must you call yourselves Saints and wield your swords against gods?"
"Even if Athena denies us or rejects us, we are still Athena's Saints. We do not need the Cloth or Athena to prove that." Ikki replies, while he is looking the Gold Saints' statue "The title of Athena's Saints has been etched on us by the wounds we got for her, whether we like it or not. And, as Athena's Saint, I must... defeat you."
Ikki hurls himself against the enemy, but Theseus is able to avoid him and finally hits him. Shun tries to stop him with his chain but he fails.
"Brother!"
Theseus starts fighting with Shun, but Ikki interferes again after he wakes up. The two brothers fall under the Gold Saints' statue. It has been easy for Theseus to beat them.
"Never thought you'd have such amazing will power." Theseus thinks, he can't understand why his enemies don't give up "Is this... what Athena's Saints are like? I'm beginning to understand why the gods ordered us to kill them."
Shun stands up and gets ready to fight.
"Now I must defeat Athena's Saints. I cannot let them survive in the god's world."
"Shun!"
"I must protect my brother! Whatever you say, I must fight on." Shun explains, talking to his brother.
"Don't be mistaken, Shun... I'm thinking I want to fight with you too. As a fellow Saint."
"Brother!"
Theseus, quickly attacks the two brothers and makes them to fall into the pool under the statue.
He thinks he has  won, so he walks away.

The Gold Saints' faces, carved on the rocks, are crying tears of blood.
"Shun... Do you feel it..." Ikki says by telepathy.
"The warm water is like the warmth of Athena. It feels like it'll soak into our hearts."
"There's more, Shun... The Gold Saints are behind us... I have... that kind of feeling."
"The warm is filling my body and mind. The warm of all the lads..."
"We've fought countless battles against enemies with stronger cosmos than us. But we got through it all. Do you know why?"
"It's because..."
"We were aware we would die... But it doesn't mean giving up."
"Brother!"
Theseus turns himself and looks to the two saints:
"Are you saying even the power of gods can't stop you?"
"Nebula Chain!"
Theseus avoids it.
"Nebula Stream!" Shun goes on.
Theseus jumps and avoids the strike. He is about to hit Shun but he avoids the strike. Ikki is hidden behind him, ready to deliver his attack.
"Hoyoku Tensho!"
Theseus is hit and dies almost immediately.
The two brothers fall to the ground but they are satisfied.

A voice, maybe Aioria, says:
"It wasn't wrong, to leave Athena to you. Our successors. It is our destiny to fade away from this world... but before that, at least let us prove that... we have existed in this era, in this world. We, people who fear no gods, who fight them with all we got."

Seiya is able to wear his cloth and is walking in a valley. He notices that water is freezing and he's happy about that.
"Hyoga...!"
Actually there is nothing to be happy about, Shiryu is spread in a pool, while Hyoga has been freezed. It has been a violet haired Angel.
"Hyoga!"
"Seiya! Stay away." Hyoga cries, he is about to die.
"Shiryu! Why do you have to defeat them?" Seiya asks to the Angel.
"Because he is Athena's Saint."
"I am Athena's Saint too." Seiya exclaims.
"Then you must also die."
Odysseus jumps and throws a violet sphere.
"You are to slow!" Seiya notices, but he is hit.
"Athena will soon lose all her blood." Odysseus says, while he is kicking him "The Saints who dare to offend gods will also be gone."
"What did you just say?"
"I said Athena will soon lose all her blood." he says.
"What did you do to Ahena? Athena will soon lose all her blood? I can't let it happen!"
"But still, when the blood runs dry, she will die."
"You're lying. This can't be true!"
"She willingly bleeds herself to protect you."
"Miss Saori willingly bleeds herself to protect us... I can't let it happen! I'll stop her... I'll show you I'll stop her!"
Seiya expands his cosmo, he feels better than before.

"You should understand the phrase give up?" Odysseus says.
"Pegasus Meteor Punch!"
Odysseus blocks the fists and keeps their energy wakes around himself.
"Seiya, run!" Hyoga whispers.
Odyessus concentrates his fists in an energy sphere, throwing it to Seiya, who is hit but stays up.
"I can't waste time here with you. Who will protect Athena, if not us?"
"Athena has handed over the earth to Artemis. Why should we fight when the god we serve is gone?"
"It has nothing to do with that!"
Seiya tries againt his Pegasus Meteor Punch, but he has no fortune. His cloth is badly damaged.
"It's not over yet. How can we give up?"
"Is this mankind?"
"Until we save Athena..." Seiya strikes another attack.
"As a human Saint? They may have what the gods have lost." Odysseus thinks while he is avoiding the attack.
"What? It's over already? Burn, my cosmos!" Seiya exclaims, just before he is hit by Odysseus's sphere.

Suddenly, the sphere freezes and breaks up: Hyoga saved Seiya's life.
"Seiya... I remember it now. Never give up, no matter how strong your oppenent is. All the battles to protect Athena. Diamond Dust!"
Odysseus blocks the ice waves, but Shiryu joins the battle, trying to hit him.
"Rozan Shoryuha!"
Odyesseus, with great ability, protects himself with the ice that is holding and sends the strike towards Hyoga and Shiryu; they freeze.
"Hyoga, Shiryu..." Seiya cries "All this time, even if our bodies were battered, even if we've lost our companions, we must move forward... even if just a little bit, because the continuation of the spirit can inspire miracle. We remember this with our bodies when we fought for Athena with our companions... We, will fight to protect Athena! If you get in my way, then I must defeat you. Burn mu cosmos!"
"Mankind should be destroyed, and start from zero again. And Athena..." Odysseus replies, he has a sphere in his hand.
"Leave this battle to our cosmos." Shiryu says "We have decided to protect her even if we must die. Neither you nor the gods know how strong our cosmos is. No, the gods don't even know how to estimate it."
"Shiryu."
"It's Seiya who reminded me of that." Hyoga says "To protect Athena, we Athena's Saints have defeated one strong enemy after another."
"Hyoga..."
Seiya is convinced to continue his run, without waiting for the battle to end.
Odysseus, Shiryu and Hyoga expand their cosmos.

Athena is still bleeding, while Seiya is not able to walk normally.
"I'm leaving first. Shiryu... Hyoga, you must catch up afterwards."
After a while, Shiryu and Hyoga lay on the ground, as they were dead, while Odysseus is walking away.
"A mere human wants to defeat me, Angel Odysseus?"
Unexpectedly, his hair freezes and he starts to feel the damage of the attacks. Odysseus blows up and dies.
"Move forward. Focus on moving forward." Shiryu thinks.
"You must keep going and head for Athena, Seiya!" Hyoga thinks.

Seiya is walking through a desert, while he falls from a dune.
"My cosmos inside... is fading away. Shiryu and Hyoga gave their lives so that I can save Athena. But now I don't have the power to protect her."
"Why do you disobey the gods?" the last angel appears. "I am Icarus, an Angel of Artemis's."
"A partner of the guy back there?" Seiya gets up, he is disappointed "What did Artemis do to Athena... Miss Saori?"
"Athena is no longer a goddess. You've been abandoned by her. You don't need to fight."
"I don't care about that. I am Athena's Saint."
"Why did you believe in Athena? Athena is not waiting for you."
"It isn't because Miss Saori is waiting. Nor is it because she is a goddess. I don't care what she is. I believe in Miss Saori."
""I believe in Athena". You fought all the enemies on the way just because of that?"
"For Athena, I'll fight on, no matter how many times I must."
"I've always wanted to be closer to gods with absolute power. No, I've always wanted to become one and it made me strong. Pegasus Seiya, you could even defeat gods. Why?"
"How do I know? I only fight to protect Athena!"
"Even Angels were defeated by you Saints... I don't feel the cosmos inside you can defeat the gods. Pegasus Seiya, I won't let people with such weak cosmos challenge the gods!"
At the end, Icarus attacks Seiya, who reacts by striking his best attack, that is easly neutralized.
"Is your cosmos burning? I have been looking forward to fight you." Icarus says disappointed "In the name of Athena, you killed many gods. I've been hoping to fight you. To fight against Pegasus Seiya! Now, I only have to kill you."
Icarus expands his cosmo and attacks Seiya with some electric discharges. Seiya falls and is not able to stand up. Icarus is getting ready to kill him.
"Pegasus Seiya... Go to hell!"

Marin takes part in the battle and throws the famous pendant to Icarus, while she is kicking him. Icarus stands up, he is right.
"You..."
"I've been looking for a person with the same bell." Marin says, showing him another pendant, equal to the first one "Did you know that? This bell belongs to you, doesn't it?"
"Woman. You cosmos is an eyesore!" Icarus replies, throwing his pendant in the sand.
Icarus is furious and hits Marin so she looses her pendant.
"I'm not human!"
"Even if you aren't human, you must care about the bell. I've been hoping to see you. I've never stipped thinking about you. When I saw the bell, I wasn't really sure. But I still came here." Marin says while she is collecting her pendant.
"It's these feelings that make humans weak. I have no such feelings now."
"Is that so? But because humans suffer from the pain of parting, they draw strenght from bearing this pain, no matter how hard it is. And because humans have faith, they become stronger. Seiya has discovered all these by himself with his positive attitude. That is far from being weak!"
"The bell holder is...! It's no use looking for it. Your parents and sister only exist in you memory. None of them is here. Nothing can harm me in my solitude. I've always wanted to be indifferent to everything. So I don't need feelings or siblings." Icarus says, ready to attack "Like Artemis said, mankind should be eliminated."
Seiya interferes to help Marin, hitting Icarus's face with a meteor punch. Marin falls down.
"Don't do that to Marin!"
"You intend to protect this woman?"
"Seiya, forget about me."
"Yes, I'll protect Marin."
Icarus hits Seiya hard, throwing him far away to an abyss.
Marin stands up.
"Seiya will surely head where Athena is. By then, you may not be able to defeat Seiya." Marin finishes, turning her shoulders to Icarus and walking away. Icarus watches her, without collecting his pendant from the ground.
Meanwhile, Seiya has fallen into a lake and is staying there without strenght.

After a while, Icarus is back in Artemis's Sanctuary, on a peak brightened by a big moon.
"I'm no longer who I used to be." he thinks, then, suddenly, he remembers his childhood.
"I'll protect my sister." a young Icarus exclaims, dirty and badly damaged.
"As long as I can become god." Icarus's thoughts continue.
Meanwhile, Marin is thinking, too:
"Couldn't be wrong..."
Marin is looking her pendant and is remembering about many years ago, when she was trying to protect a child (Icarus) from people who was pebbling them. Then, she looks the sky.
Icarus's thoughts continue:
"Time will erode memory, and ever the pain."
While he is absorbed by his thoughts, Artemis arrives.
"Lady Artemis..."
"Do you still miss the human world... Icarus?"
"The Angels have been defeated by the humans." he replies, kneeling down.
"I know."
"Why were the beaten by people weaker than them? Do the Bronze Saints have something we don't?"
"Even so, you are special." she replies, approaching him.
"I am... special?"
"Because you are under my protection."
They both cross their looks.
"This is not a bad thing..." Artemis continues, caressing his face "But remember this... You are the only human I chose. Icarus. I have high expectations of you."
"As long as I defeat Pegasus Seiya, it'll be over. When I beat Pegasus Seiya who has the power to defeat gods."
"Yes, end it all in front of Athena." Artemis orders, getting away.
"In front of Athena."

Meanwhile, Seiya stands up with hard work and walks difficultly through a water tunnel. Suddenly, he has half an infarct, like before.
"My body refuses to move forward. How can I give up? Go on... Move forward... One step, or even half a step will be great... I must go. Miss Saori is waiting for me. I am... Athena's Saint." he insists, going on with extreme pain.
Little distant, Icarus is walking to start the next battle.
"Lady Artemis's watching amusedly the miracle men produced. Athena and her Saints are merely toys in her hand. So will I be. Why did I say that? Didn't I wish to serve her? I must finish wht I'm supposed to do. The boy who defeated gods... I just need to defeat him. And then I'll become a god."
Eventually, the two enemies are in front each other.
"Even if I'll be enemies with the universe and the gods. I'll burn my life for Athena." Seiya exclaims.
"If you truly believe that, then show me. Then I'll see whether you're better than the gods."
"I'll come to Athena's side. That's all I want."
Seiya attacks first and, after various fists, he is able to touch him for a little.
"Have you raised your cosmos?"
"Yes. To reach Athena's side, I don't care how high I raise it. If you get in my way, I'll beat you and go on."
"Try and beat me then. Show me the miracle men produce. You are too slow."
Icarus hits Seiya two times, throwing him far away. Then, he reaches him and continues to hit him.
"You're only as good as that? The cosmos you burn for Athena is only this good? Keep raising your cosmos until your body crumbles."
"I'll do that without you saiying it." Seiya replies, standing up with hard work "Wheter I raise my cosmos or not, if I can only reach Saori after I defeat you, Icarus... I'll defeat you."
"Pegasus, you aren't capable of beating me yet."
Icarus beats him for some time, until he takes him by the neck:
"I'll send you to where Athena is. You can't do anything now. Go and watch Athena die!"
Icarus, with an energy sphere, throws Seiya till the pool where Athena is bleeding.
"Miss Saori!"

"Miss Saori, please don't do that any more." Seiya thinks badly hurt "I can't stand watching you hurt. And... To save you from doing that is the reason why we exist, isn't it?"
Seiya succeeds in entering the pool where Athena is still bleeding.
"Seiya..."
"Yes, it me. It's alright.
They are both happy of meeting again. Athena goes towards him and embraces him... in a strange way.
"You are so badly hurt... You..."
"Why did you say that? What are these wounds if I can finally see you?"
"But I am no longer the goddess of the earth... And you should've been relieved from the pain of being a Saint!"
"Whatever happens, I only live for you. Even if I have to be enemies with the whole world, even if my opponents are the gods, I won't hesitate."
"Thank you, Seiya..." Athena thanks and goes away "I knew you'd still reach here. Seiya... I'm going to kill you."
"What did you say, Miss Saori?" Seiya is abashed.
"I said, I'll kill you." Athena replies and exits from the pool.
"You are lying. What happened, Miss Saori?" a worried Seiya asks.
"My sister, please give me the scepter just this once. I want to kill Seiya."
"You've finally found your goddess self?" Artemis arrives and shows her the scepter "Athena, kill Seiya and return to our side."
Athena kneels down to her sister.
"Is it true... Miss Saori, you really want to kill me?" a stupid Seiya whispers.
"Yes, it's true."
"Is it..."
"Is it okay, Seiya?" Athena is getting ready, putting slowly the scepter to his chest.
"I told you I live for you. So it's okay if I must die for you." Seiya replies smiling.
Athena cuts Seiya, who falls down.
"Seiya..."

Meanwhile, Shun is climbing an abyss by his chain to reach Sanctuary.
"Brother... Seiya's cosmos."
"Don't worry about Seiya. Just reach Athena as soon as you can." Ikki tranquilizes him.
Hyoga and Shiryu, too, after getting up, feel something.
"What are you doing? Hyoga, go!"
"Don't you know? Seiya's cosmos disappeared."
"I know. That's why we must reach Athena as soon as we can."
"We are Athena's Saints. We must hurry!"
Even Shaina feels something strange.
"Seiya..."
"What's wrong, Shaina?" Ichi asks.
"Seiya doesn't seem  to be climbing back." Jabu comments "He must've given up."
"Yeah. It's great he finally gives up."
Ichi is surprised because of the answer.
"Let's go! No one will come here if we stay." Shaina orders.
"Shaina, wait for me." Ichi and Jabu exclaims together.
"Humans... can only be servants to the gods?" Shaina thinks.

Athena is carrying Seiya's body by herself.
"Humans have indeed made many mistakes. They may really deserve to be destroyed. They worry and they suffer. They hurt but they also love. Sometimes that is aven better than perfection. That's what I believe." Athena thinks, while she is putting Seiya down, she embrace him (I think that she also kisses him) and starts crying "Even just a glimpse. I still want to believe in the good things in humans. I'm sorry... Seiya, I have dragged you into war again. Forgive me."
Unexpectedly, Seiya's hand moves and keeps the Athena's one.
"What are you talking about? Miss Saori, I didn't go to battle because you ordered me. I go to battle for you." Seiya tells her, getting up.
"Seiya..."
"Athena's scepter didn't pierce through Seiya's body, but Hades's curse. Athena, that's your answer?" Artemis asks.
"I only wanted Seiya to live like a normal person. But, that is... just my wishful thinking. Seiya, you want fight not because you want to be servant of a god but because you think humans should live as humans."
"Yes, that's why I'll keep fighting, for your sake!"
"Athena, why don't you come back to us?"
"I am Athena. My heart is with the humans."
"Then perish with your humans." Artemis finishes.

So, it starts the duel between Seiya and Icarus.
"The cosmos inside me is burning." Seiya exclaims, but he endures the previous attack.
"Humans cannot defeat gods." Icarus replies and jumps again towards Seiya, hitting him but with minor results than the previous battles. Seiya is ready to react.
"Athena, do you understand how I feel now...? The pain of killing your own sister..." Artemis continues.
"I'm also someone who defies the gods. If that is the case... I can only fight against you."
"You want to fight against me?"
"I'm the goddess of the earth. I exist to protect everything on the earth."
It continues the duel between Seiya and Icarus, with Icarus in light advantage.

Meanwhile, it starts also the battle between Athena and Artemis, which is however more by words than by actions.
"Athena." Artemis says, darkening the sky.
"I've found something higher than the power of gods."
"How is that possible?"
Seiya is still enduring Icarus's hits, but he remains standing.
"Is it over already?" Seiya asks himself.
"Have you ever thought about it?" Athena continues "Why do gods have eternal life and enormous power? The power that gods possess doesn't exist for the gods. It exists for the other living things in the world. Gods, are servants of all living things."
"Gods, are gods. Humans are just replicants of gods."
Artemis recalls a bow and an arrow turned towards Athena, who remains in front of it with opened arms.
"Please shoot this arrow. Then you'll understand everything."
"Aren't you afraid of being destroyed, being killed?"
"Why should I be? The beauty of mankind is that they put their faith in life."
Meanwhile...
"Pegasus Meteor Punch."
After having burnt their cosmos, Seiya and Icarus attack each other with their best moves.
"You can't kill me." Athena continues.

Seiya and Icarus hit hard each other, but Icarus is falling down into an abyss. Unexpectedly, it's Marin who saves him.
"The bell my sister gave me. Actually I hate that sound. I tried to get closer to god... I tried to throw away my human heart. But the bell made my sister's face cross my mind. I did give up on everything." Icarus confesses between the arms of his sister Marin.
"Not until I saw that bell did I believe that I'll be able to meet you again."
"I've always thought that someday I can return to my sister's side and protect her ever after."
"Touma..." Icarus's real name.
"That's why I wished to become stronger... But I started to believe that giving up thinking about her is the way to become a god."
"For so many years, I couldn't look for you. It's my fault. I didn't know I lonely you are... I couldn't be by your side when you needed someone most. It's my sin."
"When you're missing someone," Icarus adds, getting up staggering "you have really strong power. Your cosmos will burn without limits... When I saw Pegasus and Athena, I felt I could never win because I've forgotten how to miss someone."
Seiya gets up staggering too.

Meanwhile, it continues the duel between Artemis and Athena, who approaches intentionally to be hurt by the arrow.
"The capacity of missing someone. Gods are... Athena. Are you kidding?"
"The difference between you and me is a human heart. The human heart guards me and makes me stronger."
"Miss Saori." a worried Seiya shouts.
"Perish... You are no god."
Finally, Artemis throws her arrow towards Athena, but, unexpectedly, Icarus jumps between the two goddesses and is hurt instead of Athena.
"Touma..." Marin and Athena exclaim shocked.
"Why did... you..." Athena asks.
"I don't know, but my body has reacted..."
"Icarus..." Artemis say with the usual voice.
"Is this what they call human? Lady Artemis. You can't kill Athena. Your hands shouldn't be stained with blood... Your hands shouldn't be stained with blood!"
"That's enough... Touma." Marin reaches a dying Icarus to help him. The pendant falls down.
"I don't understand." Seiya comments "What kind of world do the gods want to create? What is the view the gods see? What are gods... Gods... What are they..."
"Seiya!" Athena exclaims.
"What the hell is this?" an angry Seiya blows a fist against Artemis, who is shocked and doesn't react. However, she hasn't any damage.

Suddenly, the sky around becomes red fire and a voice appears in background:
"You asked what gods are?"
"This voice is..."
"Brother..."
"What are gods?" Apollo continues "This is not a question humans can answer. Humans don't even have the right to ask. Artemis... I thought you'd be smarter."
Artemis is sorry.
"Athena, show me your... Come..." Apollo orders, taking her from her neck.
"Miss Saori!" Seiya exclaims.
"What a beatiful face..." Apollo comments with a sarcastic voice "It saddens me to see such a beautiful face vanish. A god who is close to humans is more stupid than them. That is what it is."
Seiya arrives with his Meteor Punch and Apollo leaves his catch on Athena.
"Never thought such a strange thing will happen. Humans dare to strike against gods."
"Just as we fought against Poseidon and Hades." Seiya replies "Miss Saori has always believed in us. She's willing to bet her life on someone like me."
"Seiya, no! In front of Apollo...our powers are nothing!" Athena suggests.
"There's only one thing Marin didn't teach me. That is running away from my enemy."
"Gods are eternal. Do you dare to strike a god? Only the eternal are the most beautiful and most powerful. Perish now, human."
Apollo blows a powerful burning sphere against Seiya, but he blocks it.
"I have eternity, too! We draw our power from bursting our cosmos. At that moment, we become one with the universe, we approach eternity without limits!"
"Seiya..." Athena is happy because Seiya is able to contrast Apollo, even if with hard work.

Eventually, Seiya's and Apollo's cosmos explode and reach everything, creating a dimension of light. We have a shot about Marin and Touma, Shun and Ikki, Shaina.
"Are gods really so magnificent? Are humans really so small to gods? But humans try very hard to survive. What kind of god are you if you don't protect them? Forgive the humans. Tolerate them with tenderness. This is what gods should be. Miss Saori will go on living, together with us. She will believe in us. You are no god if you don't love humans. I don't want it!" Seiya expresses his opinion.
He doesn't have his cloths anymore and he is completely knot in front of Apollo.
"It is impossible for humans to deny gods."
"Please stop." Athena takes part, behind Seiya, completely knot, too.
"Athena..."
"If this goes on, I'll be worried about my brother's safety." Athena explains.
"What?" Apollo is angry.
"If he still wants to destroy mankind, I'll be your opponent."
"What?"

"No, Miss Saori. Even if humans are so stupid as to deserve destruction, just let strike this one blow into his body. As a proof of our existence. Rise to the limits, my cosmos!" Seiya exclaims, jumping high. "Perish now, human." Apollo exclaims, wrapped in a dark light.

A written appears:
"When a human thought of misses someone overcomes god, what would god pardon... and how would it be punished...
There is a scene completely untied from the battle between Seiya and Apollo, difficult to understand.
"Oh... I'm sorry... It's because it's so beautiful. It makes me feel like home. But it's the first time I've been here." Seiya speaks smiling, dressed like every day, with his sack on shoulder, in a park.
"Don't mind that... There's only one person, I... hope you can find who you want to find." Saori replies.
We don't know if it's an alternative life or a memory or an episode that is going to happen. We don't undestrand if Seiya has succeeded in finding the persona he was looking for and who he/she is; it should be his sister or Saori herself.
Then, end credits start.
At the end, there is Seiya again, with divine cloth, who is attacking Apollo.
